He recorded it in 1080p HD, with 60FPS and finishes the entire game in five videos, and in just over six hours. CALL OF CTHULHU GAMEPLAY FULLYet again, he has put together a full Call of Cthulhu walkthrough that is fast, efficient, engaging and covers all the main points of the game. If you are not yet ready to buy Call of Cthulhu, however, or if you are playing and are already stuck, I recommend watching this superb Call of Cthulhu walkthrough from my favorite YouTube gamer MKIceandFire. MKIceandFire’s full Call of Cthulhu walkthrough Edward Pierce’s mental state works well too, as what you choose for him impacts both gameplay and endings.Īnd, with more than a dozen endings, that impact can be considerable.Īll in all, even with its problems and limitations, Cyanide’s Call of Cthulhu is an excellent game. Especially if you are detail oriented like I am. That all being said, Call of Cthulhu is still a thoroughly enjoyable game, as it sticks closely to the Lovecraftian atmosphere, has gorgeous artwork, and a moody, dark feeling throughout that seems authentic and really quite menacing.įiguring out the clues and being successful in the key item collecting is also interesting. So much so, the continual out-of-sync lip sync with the conversation is somewhat annoying, and the movement of each character throughout the game seems stiff and mechanic.īoth things you would think, in four years in development, Cyanide would have paid more attention to getting right. It is a game that has been in development for over four years, seemed to disappear off the radar for a while, then reappeared when Cyanide announced it would be released in early 2017.Ī year and a half later, Call of Cthulhu finally gets to see the light of day starting today and, frankly, it is still a mixed bag.Īn immersive RPG with an interesting story, and one that requires some real brain power in parts as you explore and investigate your way through it.īut a game that also has stealth and combat elements that are sadly lacking, and with some horrendously awful animation. The new Cyanide RPG survival horror game Call of Cthulhu: The Official Video Game has finally released today.
